Photography anyone?!

For those of you that don't know, we have a passion for photography. We recently ditched our Nikon D40X and upgraded to the Nikon D300, and it takes amazing pictures! Since getting our new camera we haven't had much opportunity to practice, but we did make an outing to a local park and take pictures of Addison checking out the geese, and then took some pictures of Addison playing in the yard with Abbie. It is so much fun to experiment with photography and we hope to have the opportunity to share many more amazing pictures with you. We are especially looking forward to taking pictures of the awesome lightning storms in Texas....we just have to find a good shooting location. Let us know what you think and look for more to come!

Why a blog?

I decided to start a blog to write about the Burleigh Family events. This way friends and family can share the journey with us. I will be adding pictures and posts weekly. Of course, many of you may have guessed it, the majority of this site will be dedicated to updates on Addison, but I will include info about the whole family as well. I hope you all enjoy our blog and come back often to see our updates.
