Addison is quite the character, she is always thinking and always saying things that surprise me. Here are a few of the things:
The other day Addison and I made homemade cake batter ice cream and there was only a little bit left and she really wanted it. I told her she had to wait until her sister went to bed, since there wasn't enough to share and Kennedy had some the night before when Addison didn't get any (she didn't eat her dinner). That same night I made chocolate chip cookies and Addison kept asking for one. I told her she could only have one or the other. So, she stuck with the ice cream, but proceeded to ask for a cookie. Again, I told her she could only have one. About 30 minutes after the last time we had this discussion, Addison looks as me straight faced and says "Mom, I really like cookies on my ice cream!" It was so cute, but I told her nice try, she could still only have ice cream OR a cookie. Hahahaha
Addison and I were being silly and I don't even remember the conversation we were having, but I said to her "awwww you break my heart", to which Addison responded "No, I MAKE your heart!". So sweet!
When ever we say "I love you", I always tell Addison "I love you the mostest" to which she responds "No, no, no, I love you the mostest" and we keep going back and forth. She is such a sweetie!
There are many more cute things Addison has said, but these are the ones that have recently stuck in my head that I wanted to share :)

Lavender Festival!
Happy 4th of July!

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend surrounded by friends and some family! Brian was very excited to BBQ his first pork shoulder to make yummy pulled pork sandwiches and his own BBQ sauce! It turned out great and Brian is looking forward to creating another BBQ masterpiece in the near future.
We started our weekend on Saturday by having my dad, Dianna, my sister and Chad over to a BBQ. We enjoyed relaxing the the backyard, watching the kids play on their play structure, and visiting.
Sunday Brian was up bright and early preparing his masterpiece. We had Mat, Shannon, Jeff, Hazel, Mike, Jenapher, Mason and Morgan over for dinner, drinks and fireworks. A good time was had by all :)
Kennedy is nearing 1 1/2 years old!

Again, since I have been so far behind on my blogging I am going to recap what has been going on with Kennedy for the past few months. Kennedy truly is the happiest baby/toddler I have EVER met, she is almost always all smiles!
Kennedy is finally starting to get more verbal, however once she says something we pretty much never hear it again, with the exception of Mama, Dada, Addison (Ada), baba (sippy), that (dat) and a few more I can't seem to put my finger on. She also says "awww" when she is being affectionate and it is SOOO cute! We are a bit concerned that Kennedy might not be talking as much as Addison did at this age due to fluid in her ears, which she is having rechecked in August and may have to have tubes put in. Kennedy loves to play with her babies, she will haul them around and feed them bottles every chance she gets. She enjoys dancing, reading books, playing with Addison, and playing in the play kitchen. Kennedy is also a lover of animals, especially those in the water, whenever we go to the zoo or the aquarium, she she can't get enough!
Kennedy is getting more and more teeth, I think all of her molars are popping through all at once and she is taking it like a champ! She is starting to trim down now that she is on the move and she goes up and down the stairs like a pro now, heck she can climb on and off our bed in no time flat.
Addison is 3 1/2 Years Old!!!

Since it has been so long, I thought I would update what is new with Addison, as she sure has grown! Let's see, where to start....? Addison is such a smart little girl, she is working on numbers and letters, as well a writing at daycare. She can recognize 22 of 26 letters and is doing a darned good job at writing her name!
Addison says the darnedest things....like the other day when one of our friends was going to stop by with her boys, Brian told Addison she needed to go to bed because Mason and Morgan were coming over tomorrow....to which she responded "I need to get some lipstick!"....Brian asked "why?" and she got all shy and wouldn't respond and finally said "so I can kiss them!". Silly girl! Also, the other day we were at the grocery store and for those of you who go to Winco, you know what I am talking about when Addison said very loudly "These people aren't watching where they are going, they really need to watch where they are going!" She is right LOL!
Addison loves to help me bake, she is always wanting to make cookies, and our latest is making homemade ice cream...yum! She is such a good big sister, she says how much she loves Kennedy and how they will be "best friends forever". Too cute! Addison is such a sweet girl, I couldn't ask for a more lovable little girl!
It has been a LONG time!
Hi everyone! Sorry it has been so long. Many of you have probably thought I have dropped off the face of the Earth. However, I am still here :) We have been very busy lately. In April, we moved to our new home in Happy Valley, just 3 short miles from our work. We LOVE our new home! It is a 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home with family room, formal living room, breakfast nook and formal dining room (which we have yet to use!). Brian and I have been spending lots of time putting our personal touches on the house. I have painted several of the rooms, including both of the girls' rooms, Addison's is pink and Kennedy's is purple. Brian has been doing lots of yard work trying to get all of the overgrowth cleaned up, not to mention Brian and his dad built the girls a play structure in the backyard and they LOVE it! I will try to get pictures up of our house soon! I have to really take any pictures with my camera, only my phone, so will do my best to get some pictures to share.
